Anyone Home?

Hi, remember me? I am the guy who will sometimes be inspired to write something here. Well, recently I have not been inspired well enough. It is not that I did not have possible topics, just that I was doing other stuff so never bothered to write. One thing I have which might help is a copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking that we were testing out at work. I am thinking that maybe if I can just talk to myself, which I have been known to do a lot anyway, I may blog more. The simple problem is that topics tend to hit me at random times, not necessarily when I am at the computer, and that makes it harder to actually run with the train of thought when it happens. I guess I need to finish configuring that software one of these days and start carrying my PDA which has a voice recorder... I suppose I could still record and transcribe stuff and have to take extra time cleaning/editing is all.

Another thing that has hurt is that since my last post about 6 weeks ago, I have been on short or long trips most every weekend which means that I could not write on the weekends and that I did not during the week since I was preparing for the trips (most trips involve letterboxing so require lots of prep work to get organized). After seeing Damien Rice in Nashville, I spent a long Saturday (and well into the night)at a couple of events south of ATL, made a long weekend driving trip to Ohio, a second long Saturday/night at a different event/location south of ATL, and just got back from a weekend in Charleston, SC. Now, I finally think I can stop and breathe and do some writing too hopefully. That or I will be distracted by other important things like pulling weeds and such...
